About De Roskam
De Roskam is a historic hospitality venue in Houten and part of the Axivate Horeca Group. Known for its warm atmosphere and culinary experiences, it blends tradition with modern hospitality. As part of a larger hospitality group, De Roskam needed to align its local identity with the broader Culture DNA of Axivate Horeca. Ensuring leadership strength, employee engagement, and consistent guest journeys is vital to maintaining both concept specific and group-wide quality standards.
How Traineroo Contributed
Within the Axivate Horeca partnership, Traineroo supported De Roskam with Culture DNA development to unify values and behaviors. We ran employee engagement surveys and designed leadership programs to strengthen management capabilities. By mapping and improving the guest journey, we helped ensure memorable customer experiences. We also co-created an onboarding program to quickly integrate new staff into the culture and service standards. Finally, through Train-the-Trainer and consultancy, we embedded sustainable learning capacity within the organization. This ensured that De Roskam maintains its heritage while embracing modern hospitality practices.
