About Coaching Skills

Coaching your employees and team to get the best out of themselves is the most important part of your role as a leader. In most cases you will not consciously experience your coaching activities as ‘coaching’. You guide your team in daily operations. Conducting conversations, giving feedback. Do you want to work in a more structured way on personal- and team development? This 1-day Coaching Skills training course will help you to gain more results out of coaching! In addition to developing your skills in leadership and coaching (connecting, questioning techniques, listening skills, giving feedback) you will practice conducting coaching conversations.

New insights and applications such as, for example, Core Quadrant and the Johari window will help you to bring more depth, structure and direction in coaching. This training includes a DISC Personality Test. Unlocking the (human) potential in your team!

The Coaching Skills training has been developed for (starting) supervisors and managers who want to give more direction to guiding and coaching their employees. 1-on-1 coaching conversations, on-the-job coaching and team coaching are part of this training course. The Coaching Skills training can be perfectly combined with the Train-the-Trainer Level 1 (Operational) training. This offers you the opportunity to combine training & coaching in your company or department.

Before your participation in the Coaching Skills training course you will receive a digital intake survey. We ask you to think about what you want to get from the training Coaching Skills and define your personal learning objectives. We will make sure that the training perfectly matches your individual learning needs and learning goals. With an in-company coaching skills training, an intake interview with the client is also part of the ‘learning journey’.

The Coaching Skills training is a leadership training. The training is interactive and based on ‘experience based learning’. In short: learning by experiencing! Please note that to participate in this training, an e-learning module is mandatory. This online training is included in this training, as well as a DISC assessment. If you want more employees to participate, we can split up the group or have an additional trainer present. With an in-company training you can determine the ‘learning journey’ yourself. We offer 4 Impact Levels which, based on your needs, can be further expanded with 1-on-1 coaching or guidance in creating department action plans and strategy sessions.

You will sharpen your coaching skills, gain knowledge and exchange experiences with other participants. And then … you will have to apply what you have learned in practice. And that’s not easy! In most training courses, the change needed is a behavioral change. And you’ll need more to make that happen! That’s why we work with ‘learning journeys‘. In addition to a number of fixed learning journeys (Impact Level 1 – 4), we offer over 20 additional learning modules for our Coaching Skills program. By default, this training comes with Impact Level 1. What that means? Have a look at your learning journey below.

After registration you will receive a personalized invitation for the Coaching Skills training course. In addition to practical information such as training dates, times and location, we also pay attention to creating context. What does this Leadership Training entail? What can you expect and above all: how can you prepare yourself to get the most optimal result?

The Coaching Skills training is connected to learning objectives. But what do you want to get out of this training course? How are you performing at this moment, and what expectations do you have? When will this training be successful for you? The trainer will use your input to prepare for the training. By doing so, the training will be (even) better suited to your development needs.

Before the training kick-off, you will receive an invitation to our learning platform Traineroo.app. An e-learning module is waiting for you. By completing this e-learning module you are (even) better prepared for the Coaching Skills training. And all participants will have the same starting point. The time has finally come: the 1-day training Coaching Skills takes place. We believe that people learn by experiencing. Interaction, connection and reflection are the essence of our training courses. And fun. Because developing yourself should be fun too. Our trainers are experts in “managing” energy levels and group dynamics. Our Leadership courses are exclusively facilitated by our Master Trainers. Trainers with extensive (international) working experience. That is why we guarantee that every participant, including you, will rate the training with at least an 8 (on a 1-10 scale)!

Reflection is part of our DNA. And hopefully also in yours, because reflection is inextricably linked to your role as a leader. That is why we will evaluate this training together with you.
