Terms & Conditions

Let’s be honest, terms and conditions are not the most exciting read. But they are the foundation of great collaborations. That’s why we’ve made ours clear, simple, and (almost) fun to read.

These terms describe how we play ‘the game’ with our customers, partners, and participants. They apply to all activities on our platforms, proposals, and agreements. Unless stated otherwise, and Dutch law applies.

From Proposal to Agreement

By visiting our website, signing up for our newsletter, or logging into our learning platform, you agree to our Terms & Conditions. The same goes when you register for a training, workshop, or sign a proposal. We always refer to our Terms & Conditions in our proposals and contracts. Any deviations only apply if explicitly stated in writing.

Making the difference is in our Traineroo DNA. We inspire, challenge, reflect, and collaborate to achieve your learning goals.

  • Our participants rate our programs with at least an 8 out of 10.
  • Less than 8? Then we’ll find a solution. For free. That’s our promise.

Conditions apply:

  • This guarantee only works if we can influence the result. That’s why we include an intake survey before every training.
  • For in-company training, we reserve the right to advise against a participant’s attendance. If you decide otherwise, the guarantee expires.
  • For open training sessions, we can deny participation if someone’s motivation or expectations don’t fit. You’ll receive a refund (minus €50 for intake and admin costs).

All prices on our website and in our proposals exclude VAT, travelcost- and time, accommodation, and location costs. To offer flexibility in international billing, invoices can be issued in currencies other than Euros (€). In such cases, a 2% currency adjustment is applied to account for exchange rate fluctuations and transaction costs. 

We deliver what’s agreed on, and send an invoice accordingly.

Unless otherwise arranged:

  • Each phase of the project is invoiced after completion.
  • Payment term: 14 days.
  • Prefer longer payment terms? Then we’ll invoice in advance.
  • If travel or development costs are involved, we’ll invoice these upfront. This ensures we can also pay our #TeamTraineroo partners on time.

Late Payment Policy

  • Missed payment? You’ll receive a reminder (7-day grace period).
  • Still unpaid after 21 days? You’ll get a final reminder.
  • After 14 days overdue or 2 unpaid invoices, we pause all projects until 90% of the total amount is paid.
  • If needed, a collection agency will handle the rest (including costs). 

We get it, plans change. Let’s see if we can move things around. And… time is our most valuable resource. So we apply fair cancellation terms.

When YOU cancel:
  • More than 6 weeks before start No costs;
  • 3–6 weeks before start, 50% of the total amount;
  • Less than 3 weeks before start 100% of the total amount.

Note: If we can fill the cancelled date with another assignment, you only pay the difference.

Example:
If your €2500 training is cancelled one week before, but we sell a coaching session worth €1800 on that day, you pay only €700. Fair deal, right?

Rescheduling

The same rules apply, but you’ll get a 20% discount on the new date. We share the pain.

If WE Cancel

Rare, but it can happen. If we must cancel or reschedule, we’ll contact you right away. For open training sessions, we’ll cover any travel or accommodation costs already made.

We take our responsibilities seriously and always act in your and our participants’ best interests.
But to keep things sustainable, a few rules apply:

  • Traineroo.com holds a valid liability insurance.
  • We’re not liable for indirect damages such as lost revenue, reputation harm, or consequential costs.
  • Our total liability is limited to the insured amount covered by our policy.
  • We’re not responsible for property damage during group assignments.
  • Clients ensure that participants accept these limitations.
  • We’re not liable for damages caused by incomplete or incorrect client information.

We believe in sharing knowledge, not hoarding it. That’s why Traineroo.com applies a Creative Commons “Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International” license to its content. You may use or adapt our content if you:

  • Credit Traineroo.com as the source (with a visible, do-follow link).
  • Share your version under the same Creative Commons license.

You may not use our content commercially unless you’re a registered Freelance or Franchise Partner of Traineroo.

Exceptions:

Content we use under licensed structures follows the original IP rules of the content holder.

Your privacy matters to us, always. Yes, we collect and process personal data, but you stay in control. Read our Privacy Statement for all details. As a client, please ensure participants are aware of how their data is processed.
